For the next "Industry Leaders Conference", we will welcome:
- Stephen Alden, CEO of Maybourne Hotel Group
Mr Alden will be joined by Ms. Lisa Seelinger, Group Director of Human Resources
Flavio Bucciarelli, Area Manager Northern France, Starwood Hotel & Resorts, will give a special welcome to Stephen Alden.
Stephen Alden is an experienced hotelier who has had a distinguished career in the hotel industry in Europe, North America and Asia. He took over the helm at the London based Maybourne Hotel group 3 years ago to spearhead a program of development and enhancement of the group's iconic London hotel portfolio that includes three of the world's most powerful brands Claridge's, Connaught and The Berkeley. This has included the £70m renovation and successful re-launch of the Connaught in 2007. Maybourne (originally the Savoy Group) has turned in industry leading performance on all fronts since it was acquired in 2004 thanks to a carefully executed plan of product improvement, brand building, human resource and technology initiatives and revenue management. Stephen's focus has also been on the development of the company's management and operating infrastructure based in London's Mayfair to support the expansion program of the group with iconic hotels in key global gateway cities. Stephen graduated in International hotel management from the Centre International de Glion in Switzerland and just prior to joining Maybourne served as Senior Vice President of the St. Regis and The Luxury Collection brands at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In this role Stephen was directly responsible for the global strategic development, operations coordination and marketing of these brands.
Venue: The conference will be held at Le Meridien Etoile, 81 bd Gouvion Saint-Cyr, Paris
Date: on Wednesday April 1st, 2009.
Time: The conference will start at 7:30pm, and will be followed by a cocktail party.
