To be honest the word IMHI has always been used in the previous BDE names as it stands for our MBA program.

We thought that because we are composed of 9 IMHI students, 5 different nationalities, all a bit funky in their personality but making a nice ‘Happy Meal package’, that the name would suit us well. alchIMHIst…

Our motto: Serious, Funky and Furious.
Moving along to a more serious note.

Inside the ESSEC Campus in a far underground world lies a convivial place where strange phenomena occur: Funky noodles, funky dessert and funky non alcoholic beverage @ ‘Ze Lab°’.

Who are we ?

IMHI, the Institut de Management en Hôtelier International, was founded in 1981 as a result of a partnership between ESSEC and the Cornell School of Hotel Management. Over the past twenty-five years, IMHI has grown and now achieved full independence from Cornell.

The IMHI MBA can be taken over either one or two years. It provides a thorough education in high level management in the dynamic and rapidly changing sector of the hospitality industry in a worldwide context.

IMHI associations

AAIMHI, the Alumni Association of IMHI with Charles Luthi, an alumnus class of 81' as President. He has been serving as Director of Corporate / Student Relations of the MBA in Hospitality Management - ESSEC Business School since 2006.

4L IMHI, the association is created by 4 IMHI students and bring other IMHI and ESSEC students to a 4L Trophy Rallye between several schools with more than 2000 students to Fez for a charity cause.
