Sport is also about values, and we must not forget to think about and help those who cannot practice anymore because of illness.
This year, the ESSEC's Sports Union teams up with ESSEC's association Cheer Up to promote its annual Run Against Cancer Race.
Cheer Up's volunteers visit children with cancer in hospitals and help them leading their very own project in spite of illness, helping them to find hope and remain active. This beautiful association also help raising funds for Cancer Research : let's help them on Thursday 23rd April and head to the Parc de la Préfecture (which is the park nearby ESSEC's campus) for the Run Against Cancer Race. There you will be able to run around the park, each tour corresponding to 1 € you'll be giving to the cause.
The race will start at 1 pm and end at 6 pm. Bring on your team and friends and serve a good cause ! We count on you !

Rien ne nous fait plus plaisir que lorsque le sport sert une noble cause : c'est pourquoi cette année le BDS soutient l'initiative de Cheer Up et vous invite à prendre part à sa traditionnelle Course Contre le Cancer !
Que tu sois sportif ou pas, le T5B devrait t'avoir réconcilié avec le sport : profite de cet élan en toi pour filer dans le Parc de la Préfecture le jeudi 23 avril, et donner à Cheer Up autant d'euros que de tours du Parc que tu seras prêt à faire... Une manière ludique de faire avancer une cause qui nous touche tous de près ou de loin.
Et si tu es vraiment un bon gars, explique ce concept aux participants étrangers du T5B que tu auras eu l'occasion de rencontrer pendant la semaine, et emmène-les avec toi...
