LE FILM: un monument du cinéma des années 1990, réalisé par le talentueux Terry Gilliam et adapté du célèbre roman de Hunter S. Thompson : Las Vegas Parano (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas).
Le film retrace les trois jours et deux nuits chaotiques de Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) et de son avocat (Benicio Del Toro) à Las Vegas. De suites d’hôtel ravagées en course poursuite sous acide, venait suivre des aventures qui font passer "Very Bad Trip" pour un voyage sans histoire ! Ce film est surtout l’une des plus belles illustrions de l’échec des utopies des années 1960, et de la victoire du cynisme et du politiquement correct…
Viens donc vous faire ton propre opinion sur ce film qui a divisé la critique depuis sa sortie, et a obtenu, malgré son échec commercial, un statut de film culte !
Viens passer un bon moment et rencontrer ta promo autour d'un petit film sympa et avec tous ceux qui s’intéressent de près ou de loin au ciné !

THE FILM : A monuement of the 1990’ cinema, directed by the gifted Terry Gilliam and adapted from the famous book by Hunter S. Thompson: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
The movie follows Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) and his lawyer (Benicio Del Toro), in a chaotic three days and two nights trip to vegas. From ruined Hotel Suite to trip in Vegas casinos, under heavy drugs influence, their adventures are crazy enough to make the movie “The Hangover” appear as nice and dull trip! Morevover this movie opens a reflection on the year 1971. The year the Utopia of the 1960’ failed and where replace by cynicism and politically correct. Come and make your own opinion on this movie which divided the critics from the day of its release until now, and became despite an original commercial failure a cult film!
Last but not least, it’s the perfect occasion to meet other international and French students outside of the classroom and talk with cinema addicts !
As always with CQN, the film will be presented in ORIGINAL VERSION with French subtitles
